I love you!!! - sb

Congratulations to my dear friends Loretta Roberts Grayson and Keith Grayson.  The happy couple was married on last Saturday. Don't ever forget TCB - Trust, Communication, and Belief!!!!

Today you may not live or feel your best. Your present circumstances can change for the better. You may not like your job. You may be struggling financially.  You may be riding the bus. You may feel over weight. You may not like your small unfurnished apartment. You may feel lonely and depressed. You may hate your boss.  You may feel sick and tired. You may be in between jobs. You may feel overwhelmed with your children, homework, housework and your two part time jobs. Time heals and brings about change. Your circumstances are temporary.  If you think your life circumstances are permanent, your doubts and lack of action will keep you stuck in a box of frustration. So keep your faith strong. Believe in God’s promises. Believe in yourself.   Don’t give up thinking that it won’t get any better than this. Be patient. Be proactive with your goals and plans. Seek out self-improvement materials.  Stay focused on progress. Improve your self-talk and remind yourself that you are blessed, qualified, ready, grateful and worthy.  The best is yet to come.

Don't measure your success by what others have accomplished. Look over your shoulder and realize how far you have come. Your endurance, integrity, faith, love and willingness to grow is what makes you successful. Even though you have come close to the edge of giving up and believing that you are not enough ... you are still here. Just like your computer was installed with a program, you were born with a purpose. Never discount yourself. Stand in your glory and exercise your spiritual authority over anything or anyone that tries to tempt, distract, diminish or anger you. You have your role and assignment. You are significant. You are making a difference. You are loved. You are a conqueror. You are phenomenal. You are about to turn the corner and discover great new blessings and the victory.  Jewel

We each come into this life to learn, relearn or unlearn something we need to know. As difficult as it may be to accept, we choose the exact circumstances into which we are born. Whether it is poverty, abandonment, abuse, rejection or disease, our deepest self knows the lessons we must learn. Our mind chooses the path. Life's lessons are few: peace, freedom, strength, justice, faith and love. All the answers you need are buried within you. For just a moment let go of the anger, fear, guilt, shame and blame. Focus all of your attention on the center of your being and ask yourself, "What is it that I must learn?" The longer you ask, the more sincere you are to know, the faster your answers will come. --Iyanla Vanzant "Acts of Faith"

Let me thank everyone that attended Thursday and Saturday’s class.  It was great to see all the new dancers that were eager to learn and excelled in their beginner’s class.  Seeing siblings get together and learn the dance is more exciting.  In Thursday’s class there were three sisters and one brother enjoying not only the dance but just being together.  The Jazzee J’s supported the Grenadier’s 1st Ladies of SwingOut on 4th Friday at the Grenadier and had a blast.  Remember to support everyone class and event because we are a family.  Men of Swing, please share your hand in dance to all women, not just the advanced ladies.  Beginners and intermediates need love to.

I will be leaving for New Orleans on July 4 for the Essence Music Festival If you or know of someone that will be going please let me know.  Class will still be held on Thursday, July 3 and Saturday July 5 with Stephanie and Rodney instructing!! Where you go or whatever you do, please be careful and may the Lord deliver you to your destination without difficult! There are many events going on so please click on Calendar at the top and visit your city of choice.

Until next time, continue to pray, be safe, stay healthy and keep dancing!!!!  -Sandy Brown
